Firstly, on Monday, David Ir Shai, Director of Prisoner Rehabilitation for the Jerusalem area, will visit Neveh Channah. He will speak about his program, and will answer questions about the program and its end results.
Secondly, on Wednesday, Daniel Rhein, Efrat Resident, will speak about his experiences volunteering in the Israeli prison system. He will delve into the question of "Society's Responsibility to the Criminal."
WEEK FIVE: This week is set aside to reflect on the speeches we heard last week. Visit the Joint Projects Discussion tab to post your reflections. WEEK SIX: Write an autobiographical profile, including your past, present and future. Who are you? What are your interests? Values? Favorite quotes? Goals for the future? Post this on the IFaces Student Profiles page. Visit the Frisch Student Explorations page to see their student profiles. Respond to these postings in the discussion. Time out: Neveh Channah and Frisch are each working on their own literature and research projects. We will join each other in May to share and critique the results of our projects. We will reflect on the conclusions of our study of the prison systems and community responsibility, as we explore further horizons.
